Izza Posted January 11, 2012 Share Posted January 11, 2012 I was talking to my mate the other day and he said that they are increasing the size of legal bream to 30cm and dusky flathead to 40cm, Iv checked the dpi website n cant find any info on a change and bream are still listed at 25cm and duskys at 36cm has anyone else heard of this or is it just a rumour?? Guest Aussie007 Posted January 11, 2012 Share Posted January 11, 2012 pretty hard to catch a 30cm bream these days im all for upping the limit on most fish that can grow huge and flatties are one of them easy to come by in big numbers for small flatties around the 40cm mark usually where theres a few there plenty more and so easy to catch and get your bag limit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LBG. Posted January 11, 2012 Share Posted January 11, 2012 I'd like to see maximum limits set to keep the breeders breeding. Upping the minimum size doesn't achieve as much as it could.
