jim77
good fish mate, how have the slimes been, cant find any? how have you been going with them? Daniel - slimies were thick as before xmas, although i have to say that i didn't get any Kings on them despite fishing with them a lot. I was away for the whole of December and early Jan so i don't know what they were like then. They are still around atm but for me they are harder to catch in the arvo which is when a number of my trips have been. Early morning they are there if you are patient enough to wait for them to turn up in your burley trail... I'm not very patient! Also they are huge - i know i am after Big Kings but the slimies i have caught recently have been massive and hard for anything under 10-15kg to even contemplate eating! Hopefully if the Kings ever turn up properly this year the slimies will still be around as they are definitely a better bait for weeding out the bigger fish when there are plenty of Kings around.
