oz_brett Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 When I purchased my boat I requested an engine support pole only to be told the back of the boat was strong enough to support it I eventualy got one but only used it on long trips because it was a pain to set up. I recently watched a dvd (rick Hucksteps boating basics) he had he's own made up and it was attached to the boat instead of the trailer "good idea" I then looked at the honda owners manual and it also recomended the use of an engine support pole not only to protect the back of the boat it also protects the swivel bushes on the motor bracket. so I set to work to make mine easier to fit.
