350chev Posted March 27, 2012 Share Posted March 27, 2012 Hi raiders, Hit the bay at 7:00am with my two bro in laws. Caught some live bait, yakkas and a few slimmies, moved around the bay not to much happening. Ended up with two nice fat bream around the 40 mark and a flathead. Any way i was curious about where you caught your livies and if you don't mind giving a general location and method it would be appreciated. Cheers! Feed a man a fish and he eats for the day. Keflapod Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 Hey Daniel, What depth were you in ? North side or south ? I was out there Sunday, fishiong the south side. I tried 1.0m and various depths to 3.0m and only got 9 bream. I could not find any areas I could say were holding them. 350chev Posted March 28, 2012 Author Share Posted March 28, 2012 Hi tony, I'm fairly new to the bay so still looking for good grounds myself, the few bream I caught off dolls point near a hole i located. Fished just on the edge in about 4meters of water. I'd love to find a spot where I could get stuck into some quality bream and flatties.
