lassl
Hi Everyone went up to coffs harbour for the holidays and thought i may aswell bring the fishing rods up with me.. last night we headed out to the beach at about 5:30pm to try and spin up a few tailor. After 45 minutes of continuous strikes we managed to get one in which went 45 cm. we decided to through out some squid and see if we could tempt a few jewfish onto the line. As time went on we caught a couple more smaller jewies and one wobbegong. With no action for about 20 minutes we got a nice four kilo jew. Followed by a couple more undersized jewfish which went back. Again it all went quiet untill one of the rods starts screaming with line peeling off. After a 10 minute battle we pulled up a great sized jewfish which went 9.2 kgs on the scale. After that nice fish we decided to call it a night
