smuggler
Someone said on the radio today the current was doing three and a half knots so I don't know if anyone could hit bottom.

Crusher
Just home from the Southern Canyons. Current doing a good 3.5knots. We were drifting south at 1.5 - 2 knots into the wind. It was useless drift and we pulled the pin and came home. Saving our ammo for when the YFT turn up.
The President
Went to Browns on Saturday 19/5/12. It was little windy in the morning with a 1m -1.5m swell, it settled for a beautiful afternoon with flat seas and little wind. Even with a large parashute sea anchor from a 6.4 hardtop we were drifting at 2.5knts but could hold the bottom with 1kg sinkers. Current was running South. Caught 5 blue eye between 1pm - 3pm. Cheers The President. Edited May 20, 2012 by The President
