Long Weekn south coast trip ideas

I'm thinking of taking my boat down batemans bay for long Weekn ! Any ideas or other places that could be firing at that time !! Snapper kings

Kiama and Jervis Bay should be firing for both those species. Tuna as well!

I've never fished jervis fished batemans all the times !! If the tuna are off jervis u would think they'll be off batemans aswell ! U fished jervis

If you are going to Batemans, I'd go another 50 mins south to Narooma. Weather providing, and with the right research, it will be hard to beat. I've fished between Narooma and Montague Island for tuna and kingfish over the years and it has always produced. Continental shelf is also relatively close to the coastline there.

Ive fished out of narrooma my dads mate owns that big Cat moored there Lebelle ! We do trips on that ! Got family friends in batemans ! Still might venture south an tie up to cat at night

if the seas are too big you could head to st georges basin... you wont find kings in there but you will come accross some nice snapper if u burley up heaps.

Hey Nick,

I am a Ulladulla local and remember seeing a few reports of kings off the Moruya heads.

I just uprgaded to a 4.8 meter Clark to hit some of the inshore reefs. Will let you know what I find
