Scent Blazer Lures Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 With very few reports of Yellowfin tuna The Scent Blazer Lures Crew took to the water to see if we could get amongst the fin, now we just had to find them. The SST charts were showing some promising tuna filled water southeast of browns so we pointed the bow in the direction of the fish. Our run out was filled with an array of wild life from lazy humpbacks to very playful Pilot whales! The bird life grew the further east we traveled; albatross to terns and even the pesky mutton-birds were out in flight. The fishing was red hot with double and even triple hook ups on smaller tuna, we couldn't keep the lures out of their mouths, with the stripies keeping us busy our search for gold continued into the dark! Read on and See how we went, what Scent Blazer Lures we used and what techniques helped us find the fish! Follow the link bellow! http://www.scentblaz...aseForTuna.aspx Tight lines Scent Blazer Crew

REEF MAGIC CHARTERS Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 (edited) Hey Damo, Thats very cool, which Scent Blazer lures are you guys using? looking forward to a report filled with big Fin, all the best of luck out there. Weather looks near perfect! Cheers SBC www.scentblazer.com Well it was pretty sloppy out there this morning but the scent blazer "small size" lures had the stripeys jumping all over them but unfortunately no fin on the troll. We found the water we wanted in 700 fathoms and set a cube trail at 3pm. We soon had stripeys annoying and stopping us getting to other fish but managed 2 albaoore 10-12 kg. Very sloppy coming home as the SW picked up after dark. Heard another boat get 2 very small albies & Blue Illusion got a nice 80kg mako on 10kg.. Well done again lads. No gems on the mountain again but we should start to see more mako's there when they do. Bermi slowed down today with most boats going zeros but a couple of 120kg odd fish were weighed, apparently that edge has moved and water temp has dropped. Hopefully they will head this way. As the charters fill up we will be out a lot more over the coming weeks so will have more reports & looking forward to bagging our first fin on a scent blazer lure. Scent Blazer Lures Posted June 25, 2012 Author Posted June 25, 2012 HeyDamo, ThoseScent Blazer 6”/15cm Nano’s work a treat on tuna and well anything that swims!!Out of interest what colour were you using? Sounds similar to our day lastweek. Found good water in 900 fathoms but no fin. Also the part where youcouldn’t keep the Scent Blazers out of their mouths sound familiar haha. Soundslike that run of fish from Bermi may possibly making their way up here. Areyou out this week? I think Wednesday looks good with the arvo tide change.Saturdays tide change is on dusk I think. This week may be the week they showup, Fingers crossed. TightLines, TheSBC.
