REEF MAGIC CHARTERS
Well we managed to find them again today. First had a double hookup & got both around 65-70 one on a Stella then got the lures back in only to have one go off straight away - guess which one... The Stella! 2 hours later boat 100+kg bluefin. Called another boat over & they got 2. Just pulling into the wharf now. Will be back out tomorrow. Here is a pic of the smallest one... will put more up after tomorrow. Cheers Damo Edit ...here is the bluefin Dammo just sent me Here is Nick doing his arm curls with a 70kg model A couple more photos This is the big one Regards Stewy Edited July 9, 2012 by Reef Magic Charters

REEF MAGIC CHARTERS
Well we didn't hear of any others off Sydney apart from the boat that was 7 miles from us that we called over... but not many boats out. Heard a whisper that a boat off JB slayed them getting multiple fish over 100kg. Forgot to mention we had a great white trying to eat the big tuna as I was trying to get it on the leader.. Was bashing the water with the gaff to try and scare it & thought it might come through the door as I dragged it aboard. Fish seem to be coming from the south & 500-800 the area- all fish on the troll. I would run skirts & bibless minnows & keep a tight spread don't be afraid to throw so cubes in from time to time then circle back on them. Lots of bait marking as well today. There will be lots of boats out tomorrow... keep your ears on the radio. Good luck. Cheers Damo Edited July 7, 2012 by Reef Magic Charters

cantab
Well that would have to be the most amazing days fishing I've ever been a part of! Huge thanks to Damo & Bob for not only putting us on the fish of a lifetime but also putting up with our fettish for using the Stella's. Not sure the egg beaters were worth the pain, overhead next time I think. As Bob said ... shouldn't bring a knife to a gun fight. Damo was right, the SBT far exceeds YFT on the chew!!! Again Damo many thanks and we'll be back for sure! (if my back ever comes right). Cheers
