Stuck two live mullet out and started cubing some pillies and we each had a rod rigged with unweighted cubes. First sign of life in the trail and I dropped my cube and a solid salmon smashed it. As mine came up my mate spotted his mate following him up and dropped his bait in and we are on to a double hook up. I get mine up and quick release and my mate said something was following his salmon so I dropped in another cube and hooked into a big bonnie we landed both fish the bonnie went 60cm both salmon were around the 70cm mark.
