Shannan Nath
Boys and girls, I posted a thread in teh reports forum about catching a rat kingy in Meadowbank on Saturday but havent had a response. Does anyone have any idea what a Kingy would be doing that far up Parra river let alone this time of year?? Cheers Shannan
LeoB
Gday Shannan Yeah, I found it pretty interesting too! But I do remember reading an article a while back saying that kingies do have a resident population during winter, they are just harder to catch as they slow their metabolic system down. But as for meadowbank, I think it may have been just a touch lost. Cheers Leo
mimyo
Cause the water is so clean, the further up river they will go.
rjc123
Got 4 rats in upper middle harbour this winter. Only one legal.. I believe it has something to do with resident schools but can't give you a real reason why some stay and some go..
