traysexy Posted July 14, 2005 Author Share Posted July 14, 2005 Hmm, I tried the rocks, but not with bait. There was a fair swell growing, so was I was a bit reluctant to stay out there any longer . As for species of fish, mate, to be honest, anything thats hungry I was both whole and half pilchards [mainly the tail section], and whole bottle squid. Used a large beach rod to cast about 50m or so out and a large snapper sinker to hold it down since I ran out of star sinkers:( Peter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
