Guest hawkesbass Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Hit up the nepen river at penrith for a early season bass session with a mate in his tinnie we were on the water at 10am and started in the shallows flicking hard bodies around snags and edges it was slow going with a couple of timid bites and short strikes with two bass landed over a hour period. Then we made the decision to sound around deeper water and found fish stacked up in a hole so on with deep diving hard bodies then the bite hotted up with bass ranging from 15cms to 40cms landed over the next two hours with us moving twenty feet in a circle pattern every fifteen minutes to maximize covering territory in the hole. Water was 17 degrees. Cheers trevor
