Fishing near a bridge

Hey guys,

I have decided to have a crack at catching a jewie over the next few months. Could you please let me know which side of a bridge pylon I should fish. For example should I fish the behind the pylon with the tide coming towards me or should I be floating my baits back toward the pylon with the current?

I think it's meant to be floating back, with the current. The sweet spot is the eddy, at the back of the pylon where the water is swirling.

Thanks for that, I was just a bit unsure how to anchor down current but fish the eddie which will then be up current form where I am anchored.
