hi can someone tell me if a predatek boomerang 65 lure is to big for bass thanks

Depends where your fishing and at what time of year. long story short No its not to big for bass in general

if thats the case I would typically use spinnerbaits (I like tt vortex in 1/4oz) jackall tn50 or 60's, divers probably up too 60mm, If your out there early small cicada imitation surface lures or and bream sized surface lures and of course soft plastics. I know that covers lots of options and if i were to only go out with a couple i would pick a surface lure, a spinnerbait and a tn50. Good luck mate and would love to see a good report
