topended Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 hi fishraiders bought a shimano t curve deep jig spinning 400 matched with a saltiga z6000gt the reel is great but the blank can be pulled out of the grip did some 1 forget 2 glue it in can i fix this or should i just take it back and get another one under warranty any help would be much apreciated thanks.
Bashir Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 You can fix it yourself with some 24hr araldite or similar two part epoxy glue. But I would be returning it, shimano are quite good with warranty issues.
Guest MarkD Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 I'd say return it, if your attempt went askew the warranty would probably be voided
topended Posted July 22, 2005 Author Posted July 22, 2005 yeah i proberly should take it back but it was the only 37kg one they had in the shop so id say id have 2 wait for a new one meaning i cant use it on the weekend i might try bashirs idea but if i stuff it no warranty bugger.
