The Sydney Offshore Artificial Reef- has anyone been fishing there recently?

Hi everyone!

I am doing my PhD research on the relatively new Sydney Offshore Artificial Reef approximately 1.2 km east of ‘The Gap’ at South Head (http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries/recreational/saltwater/artificial-reefs) , and I was wondering if anyone has been fishing there recently? I've spoken to a few people who have said the weather conditions haven't been the best and there were quite a few chinaman leatherjackets there in December, but with the water warming up I'm curious if anyone is planning to fish out there soon...if anyone has I would be grateful if you could let me know!

I'm also recruiting volunteers for my angler volunteer diary program so if anyone is interested please let me know!
