pittwaterfishing
Hi guys, I was testing out a zman grub on a 1/16 HWS in the pool and the fall rate was 0.23 m per second, without current. It brought a question into my mind which is, if there were a small current would it ever reach the bottom? Thanks.
Jewhunter
The answer to your question would be no. You would never hit the bottom in any current. That's why we have soooo many different jigheads. More current = more weight. You can get hook sizes to suit in 1/8, 1/4 or heavier. Depends on the current. Cheers, Grant. Day's Fishin
Turn the pump on in the pool and try it in the flow at different distances with different heads and then you will be able to judge which head to use when fishing tidal flows.
