imgoin Posted February 11, 2013 Share Posted February 11, 2013 (edited) Hi all brought some wet weather gear a few years ago no and am not happy with it as i keep getting soaked through it must not be 100% water proofed.So i am just wondering what others wear and recommend.I do not want to keep spending money on gear that doesnt work. davebrewer Posted February 11, 2013 Share Posted February 11, 2013 (edited) Event is possibly the best of the next generation wp materials,expensive but breathes much better than goretex and really keeps the water out.I use Montane gear,there are other manufacturers using event too now.Outdoor shops like Backpacking Light http://www.backpackinglight.com.au/category27_1.htm are a local source but the best deals are often overseas.
