BOB_SMITH
Does anybody know about this sewer outlet to go into the Hawkesbury at the road bridge. No wonder our "canaries in the water" the oysters and abalone are suffering I got this from another site > http://www.sydneywater.com.au/ProjectsandT.../BDCh4part3.pdf Bob Smith
Guest bluecod
Twice in the past twenty years or so a sewage outlet has been proposed in the vicinity of the road bridge and twice it has been rejected on environmental grounds - once by a Commision of Inquiry and once by public opposition. There has also been one proposed downstream of Parsley Bay and it too fell over as the development it was to serve was considered unacceptable. There's enough boats in the area without sewage holding tanks and the last thing the river needs is another sewage outlet spewing out faecal matter, chemicals and heavy metals. MMMMMM more mercury to aid the food chain, yum yum!!!!
