whitewash
Hey guys, The other day I was walking out in some shallows to throw a few lures around when around 5m from shore and 40cm deep i stood on something that sent an electric shock up my leg and i could feel it move but no visual on what it was because i was doing my best jesus impersonation (walking on water)..... any idea what it was? never going bare foot again enjoy
fishythings
I think electric eel or electric ray can be the source. Andy
rjc123
Numb ray mate. They give you a nasty shock don't they! Not very pleasent. They have a habit of scoffing live mullet... Cheers, Tom

SargeRX8
Probably the ugliest thing Ive seen come out of the water. There's heaps of them that I have seen in the shallows. They look like normal rays but the tails aren't there, they have a weird no good up looking end to them, thats how you know if they're electric or not. Jewhunter
I had a good mate & good fisho pick one up years ago. Let's just say that he won't do it again! Cheers, Grant.
