dean Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Quick report, the Nepean is finally starting to clear. I had a couple of quick morning sessions this week. Still finding the fishing a little slow, the little fish seem to be in hiding but I did land a few in the mid 30's mostly on the surface. Cheers, Dean
Hodgey Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Gee that water looks dirty, Dean. Good to see a few fish coming from your local waterway though. Hope the activity and size improves as the water clears. Cheers Ian
bassboy888 Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Nice work dean, I will be out next week..... Hopefully finding more of the bigg'ns again like some of those. I reckon with the dirty water the numbers of small fish aren't there but the size is up. Which is a better trade off I reckon
brendong Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) Bet it's even dirty now after last night and this mornings down pour. And nice fish... Edited February 22, 2013 by Poddy Trapper
for88y Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Nice fish there Dean. Looks like the river will be dirty for a bit longer after the rain over the weekend
elferoz777 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 looks peaceful there.. thanks for sharing
paul.kenny Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Nice bass again Dean, you have certainly cracked the bass bite. Unfortunately my plans to chase the bass in the upper Nepean earlier this week was scuttled by the flooding. Hopefully I can give them a crack this weekend.
dean Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 Thanks for the comments. There's lots of development in the Camden area at the moment and it's taking the river longer than usual to clear. The upper reaches around menangle and dougo seem to clear faster, but I'm not sure if they will be clear by the weekend.
