ozkidno1
Hi, I fish regularly in the bay, but living a few hundred metres from the upper Georges River & hearing that Bass, pound for pound are great sport on light gear. I was hoping that someone may know if it could be worth a cast in the upper reaches & possibly the type of Lures? I appreciate any advice. Cheers,John. benm
Great sport maybe, but why not fish the Nepean river instead? Not too far from Ingleburn. Then you could actually eat them too. Just an idea.
ozkidno1
Many thanks for the prompt replies, and advice. I didn't know they were edible, thought they were like Carp
bassboy888
Personally I wouldn't eat them but that's just because they are a sport fish to me. As for the area there are bass through out the upper George's, lures I would look at cicada imitations and small divers (similar to bream lures) and as the weather cools work your way down to the weir.
