General Zod
Hi, I'm going to pimp my inflatable boat, and go fishing early morning and late afternoons, so just to be safe I'm going to put a Visicarbon pro light from Yak Attack. Only thing is they don't come with the Railblaza mount. So I modified my one which came with a mighty mount base. Very simple hope you enjoy. What you need. Sand down the flaps and get a longer bolt. Unscrew Mighty Mount bolt and screw in modified Railblaza base. And that's it, simple as 1 2 3 4 Now for the rib port mount. Take one of the screws out and put one of those O ring bolts in. Must cut the O ring bolt down to size. Still need to mount it on the inflatable now. Well do it during the week. Hope you enjoyed. General Zod
Hey zod the lights work a treat just curious how much dod u pay for it? I got the exact same thing buy the hobie one which inclides the hobie flag and they charge 125$$ maybe this is yhe alternative for hobie user if the price is right Alan Hi Alan, I got mine from Wild Outd00rs Australia it cost me $119.95 + $10 postage. It has the flag/ bag as well but the Yak Attack logo on it. I was going to order from US for about $110-$120 but got it here because the warranty, and it was shipped in 2 days. When i went to the kayak places to but they only had the Ram Mount base which I didn't need. So after speaking to Steve from W.O.D and emailing some pics of what I was after he said the Mighty Mount would suit what I needed to do. So looks like its not the alternative for price. But I'm very happy with it anyway. I like how it breaks down, prefect for where I'll be storing it away on the inflatable boat when not in use.
