Mutt Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 I have attempted to use a new baitcaster for the first time today, loaded up with braid but noticed the line does not spool evenly onto the reel, the guide stays in one spot! bassboy888 Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 You are not doing anything wrong by the sounds of it (I don't know technical names) the line roller thing that moves the guide could be worn or not tight enough onto it.
