tinny1 Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 Went up to Lake Lyell last weekend to fish in my 1st ever fishing comp , it was a great weekend with some old and new friends .it was a pretty slow for my boat as i only got one 30cm rainbow trolling a red/black bibbed minnow and dropped a 45cm+ at the boat after it jumped 3 times trying to spit the trebles , he succeeded on the 4th shake of his head and it would have made for some good footage but unfortunately i had a dead camera battery, it was absolutely freezing but our camp fire by the lake and the foxtel running to watch the footy made it more cozy .i took some footage of us trolling and the lake using a few different camera angles.Around 58 fish were caught in the comp by 100+ anglers including bass , rainbows and browns .Check out Lake Lyell at it's finest 98% full and clear sunny skies. cheers Mark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
