Linc Posted August 6, 2013 Share Posted August 6, 2013 Hi Raiders, I’ve been in Sydney for a month now and finally had my first chance to head out for a fish with my son. The boat is still in Victoria so we decided to see what we could find landbased without travelling too far. We ended up in the harbor not too far from the bridge (on the east of the bridge as I know you can’t keep fish from the west). It was a beautiful day and we ended up with 4 decent leather jacket (around 30cm) and a 34cm Trevally in under 2 hours so we were pretty happy. All caught on peeled prawns. Scratchie Posted August 6, 2013 Share Posted August 6, 2013 Congrats and welcome to this beautiful state! The fishing can be great all year round depending on what you are targeting. There are obviously more advantages in having a boat but the LB guys on this site seem to do really well. Well done on the fishing with the young fella!!! Cheers scratchie!!!
