ZZPedRo
First session for me this week-end since I arrived in Australia. I was near Iron Cove, fishing with SP and HB lures the end of the rising tide. No big fish yet, but I was happy as I managed to get my first Australian fishes. I missed some bites and had a line broken, but I had a great time ! I was able to recognize the breams. But I'm not sure about the other. All new fishes for me... Jewhunter
Well done. The first fish is a toad or puffer. They are poisonous so NEVER eat them or feed them to your dog. The other is a silver biddy. Cheers, Grant.
ZZPedRo
No worries. West of the bridge = all fish released. But it's good to know. Even if it does not look like something I want to eat...
nbdshroom
Good stuff ZZPedRo and welcome to best country in the world! Puffers are considered pests but it's not easy to hook them on a lure, so that's kind of skillful. Couple of respectable bream there. How did you find the fight? They go hard for their size
