kiwibrown
Went out on Saturday for a good few hours. Managed a good flounder and this guy just as i was packing up. Cant believe i landed it as it took me into several rocks. Everything was at breaking point and my line was frayed to pieces when i got it in. How strong are they....... cameldownunder
Well done. Great little fighters, especially from the rock, where they can snag and hide.

Linc
Very nice, not too many fish fight harder pound for pound on light gear
Scratchie
There's nothing like a great fight with a trev! They really do punch above their weight. Nice fish! Cheers scratchie!!!
YungFisher
Mate.. How funny I have the EXACT same setup Fin Nor fire power 2000 on a Jarvis walker royale hahaha
kiwibrown
good stuff yungfisher, cheap set up but it does the job really well. That trevally was 47cm so really tested it (especially in a rocky area). Its first run i just held the rod in two hands while it peeled off accross the harbour. Thought it was a ray. Linc
Love silver trevally, but coming from Vic, have never caught it's giant cousin. Do many GT's get caught around the harbour in summer? Edited September 11, 2013 by Linc
