sbf1
The wife had a kitchen tea party to go to this arvo so was a good chance to take my little boys for a quick run around Brooklyn. Got in the water around 130 so was not really expecting to catch much. We got a few soapies all 45-50cm. All went back so I can catch them next year. Really good fun for the boys. Stimo1076
Good job mate, im taking the daughter on friday to Brooklyn, she would have a heart attack if she hooked one of them, i have only taken her once for a few little bream up the entrance and she thought that was great. Problem like most kids is her patience or lack of LOL... see how we go.
Scratchie
Always great to spend time on the water with the boys! My kids love it and always ask to go! I agree with diesel, as long as they are catching something OR you have enough lollie's to get the by. Lol. I'm seeing a few reports of soapies in the hawkesbo recently, so good to see you get amongst them! Well done! Cheers scratchie!!! sbf1
Soapies are not too fussy on bait. We caught them on half pillies and also frozen squid strips. I find as they get bigger they get fussier that's why I can't catch them!
