sleepydragon
Hi Raider, Not sure someone got similar problem likes me. Apparently, I bought a new GFS-10 fuel sensor to connect to my Fish Finder 556S. Just follow the instruction to connect all cables from the box picture, however I was struggling to make my Fish Finder to detect new sensor. I called Garmin support line and they are USELESS. Talked to their call center somewhere in India, the operator does not know what they are doing. Finally, she said Garmin Marine support department will give me a call within 24-48 Hrs. Until now I got jack from them. Never buy Garmin product again. I have few pictures. If someone here has some experience. Please help me to troubleshoot this. Thanks a lot Cheers

sleepydragon
Hi RaidersThanks for your support. I have found the problems which everyone here should learn (I learned it hard way). After a helpful technician called me after 3 days. I took both of the items to the local Garmin Office.1-The instruction from Garmin is miss-leading. The Fuel Sensor requires 2 power sources. 1 for the unit itself another one to power up the network.2-God damn the fuse. The fuse from the sensor has been blown up (I think I did it accidentally).Problem solved by Garmin Technician.Cheers
