Nuttynatty
Fished the brackish this morning on the rising tide for a heap of EP's and flatties on plastic prawn imitations, biggest EP went 40cm biggest flattie went 60cm, fantastic day to be out as there wasn't a drop of wind and no one about. It's pretty friggin magic up that far. Edited September 25, 2013 by Nuttynatty

Paikea
Always wanted to try up there. Could a 5.6M boat get up there or is it only accessible for small boats/canoes? A mate of mine used to fish for Blackfish in the Wonnie, always caught heaps. Are they still there? Cheers Paikea
Nuttynatty
@paikea, I wouldn't think a 5.6m would get to far up past the last houses, it gets pretty. But it may be worth a try at high tide. Plenty of good fish up there.
papasmurf
Paikea - IMHO, wouldn't...the further up you go and the closer you get to the needles, there are lots of large submerged rocks that are hard to see and are just at the right depth below the surface to rip off a prop. Paikea
Thanks, I will give it a miss with the big boat but if I get my little 3.6 up to Sydney sometime (kept at Ulladulla) I may try with that one. Weighing only 49 KG it floats on a wet dew. Cheers Paikea
