Gatte
G'day raiders, Just at my folks place for a catch up and to pick my old mans brain about about the best method and way to install a sounder in a kayak. After establishing an idea of what we wanted it was off to work on the construction. A little later we have a result. I'm pretty dam impressed with it too! One more thing to add, two clips for my paddle either side for quick and safe storage while fishing. Hardware shop did not have the right size clips to complete the job Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
chewie
Hey mate, looks great. you might want to attach some rod laynards to use with those holders. Ive had some of those holders corrode and snap (if they are the same alluminium ones). A king could apply enough pressure. depends on what fish your targeting. Gatte
Thanks for the tip Chewie. These ones are stainless steel, as with all the fittings. But some landyards will come in very handy when I'm confident enough for se more open water. Gatts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
