Seacow just wondering how did ur trip go to NZ........................

Plenty of big salmon & reds - no kings. After we left, the Whanau (Maori for family) went further up the coast and got some to 15kgs.

Very jeaous. I'll be back there as soon as I can.

Also the cost of going to NZ and fishing is surprisingly reasonable. Should be on everyone's bucket list.

even more reasonable when your wifes family are from there and are boat brokers... I love my quarterly trip over to the coromandel... Those Snapper... Love it!

A couple of weeks ago fished of the Coramandel what a spot, fishing was quiet for most of the day until 5.00pm and then the snapper turned it on, 34 snapper over the next hour and a bit, cant wait to get back over there in march. Luv NZ......
