After we left, the Whanau (Maori for family) went further up the coast and got some to 15kgs. Very jeaous. I'll be back there as soon as I can. Should be on everyone's bucket list. even more reasonable when your wifes family are from there and are boat brokers... I love my quarterly trip over to the coromandel... Those Snapper... Love it! A couple of weeks ago fished of the Coramandel what a spot, fishing was quiet for most of the day until 5.00pm and then the snapper turned it on, 34 snapper over the next hour and a bit, cant wait to get back over there in march.
