Ryder
New to fishing with plastics, I have tried narrabeen lake for a lot of bite offs and a few foul hooked toads. I trawled thru the forums for pointers and locations. Today I headed down to Brays Bay in Rhodes armed with 5" gulp jerk shad in satay chicken on a 1/16 after this mornings high tide. First cast I got a good bite and a few casts later I had decent 30 cm flathead on the steps. A few more casts l had another on and taking line, a lot bigger than the first but it threw the hook. Then another just undersized came ashore. Left them biting as the rain set in. Thanks to all the raiders who share their knowledge and experience, I'm on my way.
