krause
All ways good fun! I tend to stick with the spanyids, just because they are readly available in my area. But in truth there is little difference in chrome lures. Its the speed that attracts strikes, not the design of the lure. Dont get sucked into paying for something you dont need. Avoid those with in-built swivels, as i have lost fish on them when the swivel component breaks. Just rip them along at top speed and fish will follow. As a useful tip, switch the end hook from a treble to a single. The salmon and other arial acrobats wont spit the single as easily. Have fun and enjoy that lactic burn! Twinfisher 4.9
I fished the rocks at Avoca & Terrigal through the heyday of the '70's. We all used 6:1 Seascape reels but would never wind flat out for bonito. Yes, striped or mack tuna but bonnies you don't need high speed. They can swim very quickly but they don't need that to attract them. Yes, let it sink and wind in short bursts.
