Rodb73
Hi Raiders, Could anyone tell me the advantages/disadvantages of using a fuel bladder under my floor as opposed to a S/S or Aluminium tank please? I have ample space under my floor to accommodate up to 120ltrs of fuel, but my problem is trying to justify the cost of a custom tank when a bladder is more than half the cost and can be purchased off the shelf. Thanks in advance. Rod.
batfishing
If it's Petrol, I would feel safer with an aluminium or stainless steel tank Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
BWV
Bladders often leak and sometimes burst, a friend of mine had one burst on the way to NZ on a delivery of a 70 foot cat, 4000L of diesel spilt in the main saloon. Interior was a right off and needed to be completely stripped it was a 1.3 mill dollar mistake. Fork out the extra dollar and get an alloy tank. Rodb73
Thank you to both replies. I've been doing a little more online research and I guess the consensus is against the bladders. Custom tank, here I come...!!! Thanks again.
