GreyNurse
Hi Raiders, I posted this on another forum, but haven't had much response in 12 hrs. (Impatient, aren't I?). Anyway, I'm heading off down south next week and I don't want to wind up kicking myself for not doing something I should have done with a week up my sleeve. Here's the problem: I mounted my Lowrance Elite 4x FF's skimmer transducer in the hull about two months ago. I've been unwell, so haven't had the opportunity to take the yak out since. I was going over the yak yesterday because my cat jumped up on it in the garage and tipped it over. No damage done, but I checked to make sure the transducer hadn't shifted when I noticed I had installed it arse about! Is that going to present problems or should I take it up and install it flat end facing the rear, as it is shown in the manual? Many thanks in advance. zook2001
Makes no difference really, I would leave it alone, think about what happens if you drifting backwards or sideways, sounder keeps working OK
benm
I'd leave it. Just paddle backwards.
