Dusty77
Other then getting wet & being cold, is there anything else I should know about before I head out tomorrow in the rain? Seriously I remember my dad telling me we couldn't fish in the rain because the fish don't like it ( I was 7 or 8) at the time, but now I'm thinking he told me because he didn't want to get wet. SgtBundy
For me, the opportunities are limited enough so unless its torrential I give it a crack anyway. I always thought "what do the fish care, they are wet anyway" but I am sure there is more to it than that
Scratchie
It's more to do with the barometric pressure that the storms or clouds create. A rising or steady barometer will generally activate the fish more than a falling one. Rain is just a concequence of these changes. Cheers scratchie!!! Guest Aussie007
best to wear quick drying clothes, shorts and shirt dry quicker than trackies and jumper, we fished the other week when it was pissing down over chipping norton lake it fired up the fish just before and just after the rain also fished botany bay a few weeks ago pissing down raining it didnt bother the fish
