dufmack97 Posted April 18, 2014 Share Posted April 18, 2014 Hit up curl curl with no intentions to fish really but the beach was closed so I grabbed the rod I had in the car, a 4-8kg rod, 4000 reel with crazy 30lb braid and 40lb leader for jewfish. Put a servo prawn in the lagoon with the tiniest sinker and after not too long got smashed, put up a great fight even on the big gear, got it in onto the sand and it measured 38cm and was real fat.
