Hat head, North Coast NSW

G'day fellow raiders.

I recently went on a weekend trip to hat head on the mid north coast of nsw for a wedding. (Forgot my rod ;(...). I am looking at going for a boys weekend fishing trip up there next summer.

Can anybody let me know what the fishing is like. I will be mainly land and kayak fishin for flathead and beach fishing of a night for the bigger fellas. Can anyone tell me if there is much action for flatty and whiting also anything about bigger species from the beach.

The more info the better just anything and everything about hat head.
