jimbo61
Dragged myself out of bed this morning for another blackfishing session. Decided to try further up the Georges River today so went to Oyster Bay for one down and zip. Moved up to Como under the bridge and was being peppered by small blackfish stripping every bait. I finally got one out just to prove to myself that there were blackfish there. It is a promising sign when so many juvenile blackfish are in the system. Reckon there will be some good fishing in a few years as they mature. Tried the northern side of the bridge up along the rocks and nothing current was just too fast. Moved back over and around and fished the rocks near the mangroves and near the boat ramp for a feed of three legal blackfish and a couple of juniors all caught on the turn of the tide. All up a good day on the water. Cheers, Jimbo.
