Sydney snapper, when are the most productive months.?

I have never caught a decent snapper in sydney. Just wondering the best months to target them.?

Sydney snapper I don't know but Wollongong fires on the annual cuttlefish spawning in winter.

Big ones float to surface ,bloated and spent.

Find one, cut some bait, and cast back unweighted for a bag.
