Mick...seems like your down there a fair bit. Why not take a shovel and a bucket and dig it out a bit at a time? :biggrin2:

I knew of a few young fella's that done that at Salty Lagoon back in the mid eighties, certainly helps with the prawn run. :biggrin2:

Hey Ya Joe ,

Saltwater Is One of Two Lagoons here that are in serious trouble .

Problem is , no ammount of digging here will keep it open for any reasonable period of Time unless the weather changes , and good falls of rain arrive and flush it as often as it used to.

Hooky and a few of the locals did just that I`m told on a few occaisions , but the lagoon needs regular rainfall as does everything else to keep it open.

About this time of year in years gone by , stonker Winter Whiting were plentiful , but are non existent now .
