Botany Bay South Head

Hi Raiders,

Went out for an early fish Sunday morning in and around the bay for little results.

My question to all though is this;

While doing a little trawling of live baits just outside the heads on the Southern side, I noticed a heap of boats in a circle not more than 1 klm out.

Can anyone please tell me what this spot is and what they might have been chasing please?

I didn't bother venturing out there without knowing what to fish for and how to fish for them. It was busy though.

Any help would be appreciated.
