Hi guys,

I was wondering if it would be possible to jig with a tekota 600 ?

I'm planning to jig with up to 300g jigs.

My main concern is ruining the reel

Cheers

Can't see how you'd damage it. You might burn a few drag washers if yo get hold of a decent kingy, but thats no big deal.

Personally I'd go for something a bit quicker with a bit more drag behind it, but that'll do the job

Thanks for the replies guys

Well the main concern was the reel would get damaged.

I was going to let my friends use it to jig.

For myself, I'd be using a stella 14000 :fishing1:
