mitchie18092
Cracker of a day out. Weather couldn't have been better, even managed to get in a swim. Fishing was a touch slow, tons of undersize trevs, sweep and bream. Had a butterflied yakka out on one rod which didn't get a hit all day. Another live yakka on the bottom produced a nice sambo around 65cm. Caught another couple of bream later on in the day for the table which went down a treat. Cooked the salmon in a paprika beer batter - so good! Saw a few raiders mention cutting out the red flesh and it certainly makes the difference. fragmeister
Nice Sambo...they seem to all be down deep at the moment. Had a swim myself today. Once you get past the initial shock its worth it.
