Paikea
Had the service guy have a look at my SmartGauge unit. I could not get it to read the fuel level. He checked it all out and eventually managed to calibrate it to suit my 160 Litre tank. All good now and no more worries re how much fuel is left. We talked about fitting a unit in the fuel line that reads fuel flow and, in conjunction with the Tank calibration lets you check fuel/distance travelled and fuel to a waypoint. Have any Raiders used one of these fuel units and are they worth fitting? Cheers Paikea
BWV
Have used flowscan, needed calibrating all the time, was a pain.
Paikea
Thanks Whaler, I don't need any more problem bits. Cheers Paikea
a boat
+1 to what Whaler said and also these can and do cause fuel restrictions and that can led to expensive engine repairs no matter what brand. Not sure why you would need it though because if you have smartcraft the Tacho shows fuel flow without such a devise. Cheers, Huey. boattart
Agree with Huey. My Smart gauges show fuel flow so no need to fit a secondary system.
