PRED-ATOR
G'day Raiders, I have been doing a lot of reading, and no so much posting of late (not to so much fishing either). It was great to get out last week with Matt (Fishingnoob) after work to have cast at the salmon and sharks from the beach. First of all let me say, the sand, its like walking in the snow bare feet its absolutely freezing! I had to stand in the wet sand just to keep my feet from going numb lol. On the tide change the salmon came in thick and fast and Matt had caught his biggest fish to date, a salmon shy of 70cm, he was over the moon! Matt has more pics so keep an eye out in this space. I had some bigger baits out there hoping for a bronzie, caught a few salmon, shovel nose sharks (seems to be so many of these about right now) and a shark which I believe was a bronze whaler - can someone please confirm, it went really hard on 20lb. All fish were released unharmed. You should have seen the parasite we took off this shark it was the size of a rino cockroach. I foolishly just threw it on the sand and we spent the rest of the night tip toeing around hoping to not get raped by this thing. Enjoy the pics, Stan. PRED-ATOR
Yeah wasnt too sure what it was. Looked a bit like a tongue eating louse however; it was in the corner of its fin or, the fish version of an arm pit
