First drink I ever had at the pub... next door neighbours used to take me down when I was around 10 years old and we would sit in the car park and I would have a middy of sarsaparilla.

My kids can't stand it so I use it as weapon against them when they want to eat any of my goodies .... It tell that this chocolate tastes a little like sarsaparilla... after that they don't want any.
